Baby Shark Dance Classes/ Intro Team

Baby Shark dancers are ages 3-5 who take one combo class per week, with the option of adding acro! Baby Sharks learn the fundamentals of tap, jazz, and ballet and perform at the annual Holiday Showcase in December. 

Baby Shark's have the ability to opt into our intro level competition program- where they will learn one routine and compete at 1-2 competitions (local) per season. Baby Shark's will not travel!

Baby Shark's must take the offered acro/combo technique class.

• More hours can be added upon request
• More routines are available to dancers who take more technique hours (if there are enough dancers to create a second/third routine)

Baby Shark dancers compete at 1-2 competitions per season and/or local national if applicable for the given year.

• Competition dates and costs will be given at parent meeting
• Competitions are subject to change upon directors digression

Baby Shark dancers will have various performance opportunities throughout the season.

Baby Shark dancers may compete a solo or duet/trio with other Pre-Co dancers. 

Baby Shark dancers will have a monthly tuition fee of $175

• Monthly tuition covers 30 minutes of acro and one hour of technique/rehearsal time
• Monthly tuition covers costume for competition routine.
• Monthly tuition covers their competition entry fees.

Baby Sharks are required to have a custom (personalized) JCDC team jacket: $100

• Team jacket does not change year-to-year

Baby Sharks will also be responsible for the following items throughout the season:

• dance shoes
• dance attire
• tights
• make up and team jewelry
  • full list and cost to be given at parent meeting

Any additional technique classes taken will be added to dancers monthly tuition

This is a non-audition based team, however we have the dancers attend the summer audition, get their headshot taken, and do a small class as part of their "audition" however nearly all dancers will make the program.

This program is designed for all dancers who want to experience the excitement of competitive dance. We believe in working hard and having lots of fun! Our team is more than a team, it's a family- and we'd love to add your family to it! 

Absolutely! 

Dancers ages 3-5 who wish to take the acro and technique classes but do not wish to do the competitions will have a monthly tuition rate of $100. They are not required to purchase a team jacket or attend any team events. They will not receive a costume.

Dancers will still perform in the Holiday Showcase!
